Friends of Hrant Dink, Inc. (FHD) was established in memory of Hrant Dink, a Turkish-Armenian newspaper editor who was assassinated in Istanbul in 2007. Following his murder, a group of his friends and followers worldwide founded the Boston-based non-profit in order to continue his legacy, and to contribute to peace and understanding in the United States and beyond, as exemplified by the life and work of Hrant Dink.

We aim to promote intercultural dialogue and anti-discrimination through education and communication, including but not limited to peace and reconciliation initiatives related to the world’s areas of conflict.
